The building has a wooden structure that ensures high energy efficiency and excellent sound insulation. Environmental sustainability, together with the centrality of the human being, is the basis of the design philosophy of A++, international brand of Arch Group.

Present worldwide with headquarters in Lugano, the studio is led by architects Carlo Colombo and Paolo Colombo and is distinguished by a multidisciplinary approach that allows them to range from architecture to interior design to product design.

Another distinctive feature of A++ is the attention to detail, which is the soul of the project for the aparthotel The Base. The interiors are characterized by a minimalist and elegant design in which the great protagonist is once again wood, used both for furniture and for floors and ceiling coverings.

The building was built using eco-sustainable materials such as wood and stone, has a pitched roof and large windows on the alpine landscape. Common areas include reception with relaxation area, recreation room, private parking and ski storage.

The recreation room is a space designed to spend an evening with family or friends. The environment is centered on the wooden table, surrounded by various poufs and stools always in wood, all different from each other: a solution that combines local tradition and contemporary design.

The structure hosts ten accommodation units of different types for couples, families and groups of friends, offering a total of 49 beds. The apartments combine the elegance of contemporary design with the rustic character of the alpine tradition.

The Attic of The Base is a Deluxe apartment with a floor area of 90 m2. The unit includes two double bedrooms, kitchenette and living room, overlooking the mountain landscape and equipped with sofa bed.

The great protagonist of the interiors is once again the wood, used both for furniture and for floors and ceiling coverings. Full-height windows flood the apartments with natural light. The attention to detail is the soul of the project.
